Is this just a coincidence or is there a biological reason behind my summer depression?

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that is related to changes in seasons. For individuals with SAD, symptoms start about the same time each year. While the symptoms of SAD most commonly begin in the fall and last through the winter months, in about 10% of people with SAD, symptoms develop in spring and last through summer. Summer-onset Seasonal Affective Disorder is commonly known as summertime sadness or summertime depression.
