If you're looking for a resource that is not so heavy on the medical language, but still includes great, evidence-based information for what conditions medical marijuana has been shown to be effective, you can check out this book.

Now, my word of caution is that, as a medical community, we are just beginning to figure out and standardize the prescription and use of medical marijuana, so still I strongly recommend that you talk to your physician about anything you read in this book.  Still, it is a great starting point.
